York Non members
« on: July 31, 2004, 10:52:58 PM »
Called to see if regional non-member was over or was still going on.
Chris didn't make its, some guy named Mike got it.
Funny, I heard Chris and dad in background while I called the house. Scores were just going up.

Looking forward to hearing stories when they get home. That'll be more than 2 hours from now. Hope they have safe drive, weather report was crappy up in that area.

Good Luck to Mike if he sees this.

Guess we'll be in Towson a whole lot next weekend.

Son missed it in York, came in 10 out of 33 for non-members
My husband decided not to bowl but when he watched, they plays shot he could've probably hit and regretted not doing it.

Teased them to see how weather goes in York county this week coming up, I stayed home.
Running joke here at home.
Not really funny, just bizarre.

Hey 'Mama!!  I missed this over the weekend but am thinking about going to the tourney this weekend.  Where do you live in PA?  I'm in York and always am curious if there are other BallReviewers around....

york cool!!
I don't know much about balls.
Son enjoys York, if he hears of them he goes!
Also does Limerick.
Heck he'll do a 2 hour drive one way for the right kind of tournaments.
He's getting some new stuff off of a guy in Limerick area.
Have Ball will Travel should be our motto.
How far do you go?
Used to go into Wilmington Del area for the ABT's.
I should get out a map and make a circle on it.
Depends what roads you take how close we are.
He hasn't done much in Jersey area, mmostly because he doesn't hear of them in time. We can get to Jersey borderline in about a half hour north or straight westerly.

Funny when we go to through delaware we almost his the same two places near the border to eat and rest up. Almost always ask, is this PA or Del. One is a Kentucky Fried Chicken/ Taco Bell near the border.

By "BallReviewers" I just meant members of the board....I've met a few down at the Bowler's Education Seminar and would like to see if we could do a Southcentral PA/MD get together sometime....

Thanks for the term explanation!
Appreciate that.

IF I say something stupid, I'd rather a nice explanation or correction to help me learn than a nasty comment, of quiet laughs letting me go on my way being ignorant.

Stupid people can't or won't learn,
Ignorance is not knowing better.

(I'm mostly ignorant, not proud of that, just don't want to be put in stupid category)
Thanks!
