Your Best 1-2 Combo Matchup

Past or present,  what is your best 1-2 combo and did you match up well with them because of similar core, coverstock, combination or totally different balls that just worked well together? Mine would have to be Mean Machine and Power Machine because of the similar cores.

Black Widow and Black Widow Pearl.

I drilled them identical, and had just enough difference in their covers to go back and forth when the lanes asked for it.

H20, xxxl(dont "need" any other balls but you know how that goes

Ive been really matching up well to my AO(when they have the oil)

So during fall when they oil it would be my:

AO, H20

Raw Hammer Anger and Ebonite Bash

There is nothing similar about them really, but as soon as the Anger starts burning up and hitting flat I can switch to the Bash on the same line and it will clear an extra 5-6 feet then have the same backend arch reaction.

I am going to say my storm erazer blaze and my too hot. My blaze is my bench mark ball and my too hot goes slightly longer and more mild on the backend.

Current selection for similars would be the New Breed Solid/New Breed Pearl.

From the past it would be 3D High Rev Offset/3D Offset Pearl.

Wild Ride + Smash Zone.

On the typical league shot, I am consistent with either ball.

Actually, I'm pretty consistent on the Cheetah pattern with the Wild Ride.

Current - A Shift and Spit Fire. They get a similar reaction on the lane and the Spit Fire is a good step down from the Shift.

Past - Danger Zone and Track Heat(original one). Completely different reaction shapes. The DZ was early and rolly, the HEAT was longer with a hard arcing backend. Between them I could cover 90% of the shots I bowled on in the mid-late 90's.
