Your bread and butter ball
« on: January 05, 2004, 05:54:26 AM »
What is it?  Ever have a good league night once again with a ball you use nearly every night and sit there and think, "Wow, if I didn't have this ball, what on earth would I be using?" or "If I didn't have this ball, there's no way I'd have just shot that tonight."  ???  Mine's a half dead Fuze Detonator with 600 plus games on it.  Nice and smooth, very predictable, the very definition of what a control ball should be and do.

"I pulled up behind a big rig that had gotten stuck under an overpass, and when the policeman got there, I saw him smile, and thought, 'My God, he can't say it . .'  Sure enough, he asks the trucker, 'Get your truck stuck?'  And bless his heart, without missing a beat, the trucker replied, 'Nope, I was deliverin' this overpass and ran out of gas.'  Here's your sign . . "

EL Nino Wrath- it's probably got 400 plus games on it but I've thrown consistent for the 3 plus years I've had the ball. Probably thrown about 20 700 series with it, and in my league shot this year I've had a couple of 650 series with it. Doesn't overreact when the lanes are drier than normal too...

Not so fast thevadon802, my Nighthawk M2 is still my bread and butter ball.  Like the old credit card ad used to say, don't leave home without it.  My Dynothane Thing is the same way if the pattern is a little heavier.  If I have either of these balls and a Blue Dot, I'll find a way to score.

Mine would be my Zone Pro Azure with about 500 games on it. Smooth, predictable and yet still is very aggressive with tons of pop!!
