Your largest triplicate series

I was wondering what some other high triplicate serieses are since I just bowled a 234 triplicate series on Wednesday night.

Not sure of my highest, but I just missed triplicate 248s this season. Went 248-246-248.

224 & 226 are the ONLY triplicates i've ever thrown.

I have never had one. I’ve had a couple of chances but I refuse to throw off on a shot just to get one.

We had a bowler once that had a chance at a triplicate score, 215 I believe.

They left a 7 – 10 on their second shot in the tenth and needed one pin to get the triplicate. They threw at the 10 pin and knew they had nailed the pin, turned around, threw their arms up in victory for the triplicate, and then the 10 pin bounced out of the pit and took out the 7.

I would rather have the 7 – 10 patch myself and once the shock wore off they did too.

My highest is 214-214-214, from three years ago.  I have had one or two triplicates a year for the past five years, most of them in the low 200's.  I have thrown most without knowing that I did so.  With the 214, I went out of my way to get it - I had to throw an eight count on the fill ball of the tenth.  One other time I threw a gutter on my fill ball to get a triplicate...In both cases my team had already won the game -- my score did not matter, so I went for it.

227.  My other triplicate was a whopping 157 on a night where I had only 1 double to show for my efforts, and that double came in the 10th frame of the last game!
