Your old equipment....
« on: April 06, 2009, 01:33:17 AM »
...what do you do with it?

I had 5 old bowling balls laying around collecting dust so I donated them to the local pro shop to be plugged/drilled to be given to the youth bowlers.

I know a lot of parents don't want to spend the money on buying a ball just in case their kid tries bowling and doesn't like it.

I figure it would be a great way for a kid to get a decent mid-range/high-performance ball.

Anyone else?

Either sell the stuff on ebay (but you currently get poor prices...), or donate the balls to my club's youth program.

If in usable condition:

1). Donate to youth bowlers
2). Sell on ballreviews, or eBay
3). Give to any willing recipient

If in unusable condition:

1). Bowl in the street
2). Fill the holes with fireworks and have about a minute of laughs, then 10 minutes of cleanup
3). Sell on ballreviews, or eBay (LOL)

Give away stuff to selective high school bowlers, mainly the ones that practice and want to get better

Take them to the bowling alley and sell them for $5 to $10 to the younger members of leauge...usually under 21.

Regret the decision two weeks later when they show up with it drilled and put a spankin' on me with it.

Around here the youth don't want them unless they are the newest release. If it is a year old they are not interested no matter how cheap.

Im so glad people are brainwashed to think that TRACK sucks. And its even funnier when im carrying with my TRACK ball and they're going flat ten with their OTHER BRANDS ball.

Bowl in the street...

Give away...

Throw away...

Nobody throws 16lbs anymore and if they do they sure hide it well.

Theres the old stand by, leaving them on the house ball rack.

A new one I seen was leave them in a shopping cart.
