« on: August 12, 2004, 07:10:02 PM »
Ive always wanted one, you know, your own bowling alley in your house...
just wondering if anybody out there has got one, and is it a cool as it sounds, or does it need a load of maintenance n such.

Just dreaming.... thats all

Just do it Roy Munson style, and go outback, and build the lane out of mud, and make it about 20 feet long.

Cost efficent.

This isn't the first time I've responded to a question like this and I'm sure it won't be the last.

My wife and I are seriously considering this addition in 4 years.  We're building a home then.  We priced it out and for a 2 lane set-up with all the bells and whistles, it would cost about $100K and that's just the lanes.  No oiler, no pins, no nothing.  You get lanes, masking units, pinsetters, ball returns and the like.

If you're really interested in finding out the true cost, contact Brunswick like we did.  They offer home installation of lanes.
