Your perfect house?
« on: January 27, 2006, 09:02:05 AM »
Well I know that there was a post a few weeks ago with about the same title, but it was about what your bowling alley would be like. Well I am asking if there is a house out there that you have bowled at or bowl at that suits you perfectly. Walled or not....doesnt matter how they are...you always got a good line, and score good.
Mine would be AMF Hemet Lanes. Its a pretty easy house anyways, but theyre always easier for me than other bowlers. Playing inside is my A game and thats definitely the shot there and it is just perfect. It is where I shot my first 300 game, and the last 3, maybe 4 tournaments there, I have won.

So whats your perfect house?

This was the site of the PBA Earl Anthony Classic a couple of weeks ago. It's about 250 miles from here, but by far the nicest center I've ever been in. Whether to bowl, stop in and say hi, or spend the weekend - it doesn't get any better than this!

I actually think I bowl at a perfect house.  The place is always kept up, they use top of the line equipment, the ball machine is the fastest Ive ever seen, never any problems, 50 lanes and last but not least they have a nightclub in it so after I bowl I can go in and pick up all the hot ladies.

My most perfect house was the house I bowled in years ago, Northrock Lanes in Wichita, Ks. The lanes are perfect for my style, plus it's been a host of some PBA tourneys. But alas, we moved to the other side of town a few years ago and it's just to far to go to bowl. The house I bowl in now is not as well put together, not as large, but my last season's avg of 210 was achieved at this house as well as my 300 games. The only problem I have is the lanes are not kept up as well as Northrock's are. Other than that, not a bad house to bowl in.

My perfect house is a house where the place is well maintained and the staff working there are friendly and treat everyone with the same high level of respect.

Not the one I'm bowling at....If I could design the perfect game for this house it would be the exact opposite of mine!

That is why I bowl there....the challenge!
