Your Thoughts on Non-Mushtare Topics

Remember the days when there would be posts about things other than The Mushtare?  Do you think that the sport has suffered as a result of the Mustare Topics?  Remember when THS was the biggest threat to bowling?

In six months, no one will give a flip about Mushtard while we'll all still be complaining about how the THS is ruining bowling.

Like all things there are two ways to look at things.

Half full...half empty.

I believe the Mushtare achievements are a boon to bowling!
When I speak to those who are casually in the sport they get excited about the possible.

When I speak to golfers about it they find it exciting as they admire accomplishment!

Most of the general public I speak to about it view it as an uplifting "This is what's possible" type of achievement.  

Me I view it as inspirational....I look forward to meeting him and shaking his hands after he has finished his Junior Gold...maybe I'll recapture some of that "lucky" that used to follow me around...more often.

Since it's now sanctioned, there's no going back. However, this might reinvigorate Roger Dalkin and his ilk regarding drilling. And a personal attack, err... observation; doesn't Mushtare appear and talk like Frankenstein, Tarzan and or Tonto? "Don't know how ball drilled. Just know ball go long."

I heard that his ball had the CG 2" from the grip center and had a weight hole.  That's how he was able to throw five 900 series.

All balls are drilled to "go long and turn hard".  That's all bowlers care about, watching the ball turn 90 degrees left, lots of hook, and tearing the cover off of it.

Its only an "accomplishment" if it did happen.  Which is not the case here. I have not met anyone that had a positive idea about the situation.  I do know of a lot of bowlers that are upset about the integrity of bowling now. For all intents and purposes, he pulled one over on the USBC.

Honestly im wishy washy about the subject because if i would have shot a 900 what's to say that you all wouldn't attack me as much as you are attacking him. with noneone actually being around hi to see if he made it we don't know...that's just my two cents.
