I'm on a 16lb ball kick, I got a Shock and Awe very cheap off Ebay, so I thought I would try it.
I got one with a 3 1/8" pin and 3.20 oz top weight. I put the pin 4 1/2 inches from my PAP under the fingers, and the MB at a 30 degree angle. Overall the pin is under the fingers on the span line. The CG is at about a 5 oclock position to the pin, and MB is at about a 4 oclock position to the pin. I had to use an extra hole, and I put this hole 5" from my grip center at about a 45 degree angle down. Almost drilled out the MB locater, that is the main reason I put the hole 5" instead of my usual 6".
This ball is very rolly. Nice on fresh oil. I used it tonight on a 38 foot Sport Pattern subbing in a league. Great midlane read, and just a smooth motion to the pocket. Very good hitting power, tripped the 4 once and the 9 twice. (Shot 211, 211, 194 with a hole each game.)
The Shock and Awe comes slightly dullish out of the box, and it handles oil pretty well with this surface. Might even be more versatile with a little Rough Buff on it. If it is too close to my Infinite One, I'm going to do that. Seems like the Shock and Awe could be a very good all around bench mark type ball.
Straight players should love this ball most conditions except a flood or scorchin dry. Tweeners will love this ball on fresh lanes and most lanes except dry. Crankers will like this ball on some oil, mediums if they have some ball speed.
Hope this helps you, looking forward to trying some MoRich balls!!!
