« on: September 11, 2005, 02:21:59 AM »
I was just wondering i heard that the ball was coming out but that was about it.  I just want to know is it going to be a different cover or core.

IDIOT!

They don't if you take care of your stuff!

I got three of the Weapons, when they first came out, and they have at least 100 games on them.  I clean the balls after everytime I use them and I haven't noticed a change in them.

well i neglect my equipment and def put over a 100 games on my TA and its almost a year old now too

the only coverstocks i ever had die on me are the columbia tec's

and dont say its all mo balls because it wouldnt just be all mo balls it would be all brunswick balls and lane #1 balls so dont just generalize to mo balls

Wow, this turned into a nasty thread.  A guy supposedly old enough to be Jeff's dad, making him 50+, with the screen name "justbiteme", and more talk of Mo's habits.  Why is it a great majority of new people who just sign up to the site, and have very few posts, seem to know all about ball death?  I don't know about the new ball, but I had a Colossus and currently own a WMB, and have had no problems with long term performance.

Morich balls do not die if cleaned every set, i had a labyrinth that died from cracking through the bridge to the pin. It had over 150 games on it and was 3 years old sitting in unventilated closet in my house, i live in Las Vegas the heat killed that ball not the games. Ball was super strong i found one 3 months ago NIB from areacode on here for under 100 bucks, great deal for a great ball i use the new one all the time.

I also have an AMF Menace which was columbia particle ball that came out at the same time as Chaos series, again still have the ball it has at least 400 games and still hooks about 75 percent of when it was new. Never resurfaced and looks like crap but still hits and rolls well, i think i am going to dig it out and use it friday to think about it alittle.

Jeff I happen to know of 4 or 5 WMB and S&A's that have died after about 50 games or so. All from good bowlers who do take care of their equipment.

But if S&As have died, then Absolute Infernos must have died, as well as Dirty Boms and Hybrid Bombs, as they all use Activator(+) coverstocks. I haven't heard of many of these other balls dying, any more than any other sanded ball dies when used too often on too much oil.

MY S&A has over 100 games on it and it was used when I bought it. It is still very strong.
