Awesome Flip help
« on: November 28, 2007, 11:33:31 AM »
Just purchased a used Awesome Flip and need a little help. I have plugged the fingers for a span change, and the thumb is at 0-0,so I can move things
around a little if need be. Current drill is:

O-O
 o
  cg   o small wgt hole
 O
     mb

it is about a 2 1/2" pin to cg.

I am a stroker, ball speed about 16.5, with quite a bit of tilt.

I have no knowledge of Morich stuff, so can you tell me what to
expect with this drill? I bowl mostly on wood, with a decent
amount of oil and normally clean backends. I like to play up the
boards, but will move in and slow it down if thats what it takes.
I did throw this in it's current drill pattern, but the span
was about 3/8 short so not a real good test. Couldn't get to much
of a wrinkle out of it, which kind of suprised me based on my opinion
of this drill. I expected it to be early, and it was kinda long.

Thanks for the help.

Drrev is correct. MoRich equpiment works best when drilled for the person that is throwing it. So do a complete plug and redrill it for you and your style.

What to expect: With your speed (and correct drilling) the ball should go give you a nice controlled arc into the pocket. Mine is drilled for a sharp break point andwith my speed, it does not work well. SO I am thinking about plugging it and redrilling it for a controlled arc.

But once you throw a MoRich, you will be hooked and want another.
