Ok....after reading charlest post re: his S&A experience...and of course we all know how Saw the Rack feels........I was just thinking.....

Poll:

1. Of those who throw Mo ..... are you happy with the equipment ?

Yes or NO ( If no, please breifly explain )

Also if NO
2) ...have you had bad experiences with other mfg's??

NOTE: This post is strictly for factual gathering and is not in support or an attempt to slam this equipment.

Had a Laby for a short time, even on heavier oil and at 1500 grit, it hooked at my feet. Gave the ball to a teamate with a pretty low roll (I track relatively high) and he proceeded to throw the first 9 with it. His favorite ball by far.

On the times I could get it to the pocket without it dying on me, it hit extremely well. I'd like to try the Sahara, but I've been bowling on very light conditions recently and just don't see a need for it. I still think it will be too strong.

I think in the right hands, Mo's stuff is very solid. I do think the cores tend to favor certain releases.

Yes only ball that does not work for me is TA, i have had or still have the following:

Shock and awe love this ball rolls heavy but still backends for me yes i am a spinner 5 1/2 over 1 inch up high track but spinner

Total Shock and Awe if i see enough oil it rolls well usually it sits when i bring it which is rarely anymore.

LAbyrinth found a new this year ball still hits well and hooks good on todays oils.

Hercules hit and miss ball old spans never can quite clear this well enough, i will redrill unless i get a 100.00 shipped offer ball has less than 6 games.

Ravage keeep it polished go long snaps like a bat out of hell good hitter.

Will get new ball when right deal comes along but will not jump through hoops to get it since it might be too strong like the TSA

Yes, DP3 was just yanking our chains, He did put a smiley face there. I would have said something if I thought otherwise.

I guess I'd take JeffRevs's advice on this. I put that in my Shock & Awe post. I have plenty of other balls that work fine. I wish I could have made it work, and from all the effort I put into it, you know I REALLY wanted it to work. I know its potential.

If you TRULY want to take another stab at the Vanguard core, send a pm to kotm.

Doc Hollywood, Thanks also for the offer. I too have plenty of balls that work fine and plenty of brands.

I've had two Mo balls and liked them both.  Colossus and WMB.

Manufacturers I've not matched up well with:  Ebonite and Lane#1

I have had the WMB and it was okay, nothing special. I gave it to a friend because it was too heavy. I now have the Weapon of Mass Bias II and love this hybrid covertocked ball. Very readable and really holds energy well before turning over in the backend!!! O have only seen 1 S&A thrown by a friend of mine and it was a real over/under ball for him also.

i recently got a new S&A and even though i havent bowled with it much, its a great ball, goes nice and long, and hits hard...

I have used a Minotaur and a WMB.  For me, these balls are very condition specific.  They either match up perfectly or they don't.  You know within a few shots if the ball will work or not.

I have owned/own Ravage, WMB, Colossus Pearl, Hercules, Shock and Awe, and the Sahara.

I have found uses for all of them at one time or another.  I currently throw the Sahara at the "dry" house in town, and have had a lot of luck with it.  I drill my own stuff, and always use the drilling sheet that comes with each ball.  I have never been disappointed with any of the balls.

i currently own  a Tsa, 2 SA,Sahara,WMB,Hercules,Onslought,RavageI,II,
III,WMBII,Colosus supreme,mayhem, ebonite big time, bigtime pearl,the ONE,overtime, Hammer BIG DEAL,REAL DEAL,sawblade,razor blade,big blue pearl,VIBE and tuff. all of these balls have worked well for me on the right time on the right lane, i use to only throw hammer equip. but started to to throw mo's equipment and my average has went up about 10 pins to around 225. so it is to each his own about what you throw as long as it works for you.

ok i am a moron and a lousy bowler so dont take my spill on morich equipment to heart its not the ball its the bowler speed is an asset i dont have much of and i believe in the hands of someone with adequate speed the wmb is probably an awesome ball and my hercules is less of a hooking ball but it does what it does well . I shot them yesterday after knocking them and i have been working on my mechanics ths fresh with adequate speed i was able to see some decent results with both balls got a decent read and nice hit and carry although it wasnt any better than any thing else i put on the lane it wasnt worse, i was also shooting and old ninja fury and a power groove ,the hercules was stronger than the groove for board cover but the hit from the power groove is awesome, my wmb is pretty much the same as my ninja and the ninja is polished wmb is 500 grit but no stronger i actually think my ninja carries better and has more back end
