Longevity of Total Shock & Awe cover?
« on: September 13, 2005, 12:37:26 AM »
Has anyone put a significant number of games on their Total Shock & Awe? I just punched one yesterday and the ball is remarkably strong. To me, it seemed like the cover was what was helping it grab so early. If that is the case, I'm wondering how well the ball holds up (in terms of reaction) over time. I know that very aggressive balls like this tend to soak up oil and dirt more quickly than others, rendering them more prone to performance loss over time. So, has anyone put a high number of games on this ball to determine whether or not this is the case? I'm only planning on using mine on heavy stuff, so I shouldn't be too worried. I'd just like to know what people are seeing out of this one.

it's a slightly tweaked T/A cover ....Gene...w/ proper maintenance...you should get a significant amount of games out of it
