Morich just signed a deal with Storm
« on: March 29, 2007, 05:49:46 AM »
Looks like Morich is leaving Brunswick for Storm. Bash me all you want if you don't believe me, but when it's release you may call me your saviour.

I guess that Mo should let you in a little further. Straight from a high up source at Storm.

I would doubt it Storms Covers aren't very reliable Brunswicks are, Storms Stuff is to soft and doesn't last long enough besides Storm balls in general hit like a woman and carry like a cat

It cracks me up when people say stuff about other company's covers.

Have you even tried the R2S coverstock, probably not.  You are definately missing out as the Shift, the Special Agent and the T-Road are all great hitting balls that can handle all different kinds of lane surfaces.

In my defence I have had no luck with Storm in the past I have watched alot of their stuff fall off to much, I hanen't been able to get one to carry very well with numerous covers and cores and drill patterns. Most of the stuff I have throwen has lost to much energy before it got to the pins. Overall I think Mo's stuff hits far harder carries far better and hooks far more effectivly for my style of play.

I am sorry if I offended anyone with my previous post on this topic I was not in a great mood when I wrote it and should have known better.

I would alomost hope that Mo was going to use Storm covers. Between his cores and bruns covers, the balls are the rolliest balls on the market. When I buy a ball that says "flip" on it, I expect a big flip. Strom is known for this. Personally I do like some of the current and past Mo stuff but, Adding a storm to the arsenal really fills things out. When I want to play deep, storm is the way to go. I dont like Mo stuff for my game unless there is alot of oil and I dont have to play 4th arrow out.

If this is true, you won't see anything outhooking an Awesome Hook any time soon.  This isn't a knock on Storm, but Brunswick's cover hook earlier.  Every company has its place and I don't see how Storm can provide the same reaction Brunswick covers have provided MoRich's balls.  I'm not saying they wouldn't be good products, just a different look from the distinct look Mo has right now.
