RAVAGE 6 WOW
« on: April 29, 2008, 05:19:28 AM »
GIVING A REVIEW ON A BALL THAT DOESNT BELONG TO ME. WELL HERE GOES. THIS BALL BELONGS TO A FRIEND. THE BALL 15LBS. 2OZ. 11/2 INCH PIN.THE BALL IS DRILLED WITH PIN RIGHT AND 1 INCH DOWN, CG AN INCH TO THE RIGHT WITH WEIGHT HOLE. THE LENGTH OF THE RAVAGE 6 IS EASY AND THE BALL REVS UP NICELY THRU THE FRONTS SAVING EVERYTHING FOR THE TURN AT THE BACKEND. STANDING 30 LOOKING 20 AT ARROWS TO 8. BALL JUST READS SO EASILY AND THE CARRY IS JUST PLAIN GOOD. JUST CURIOUS THOUGHT ID SEE WHAT THIS OVERSEAS RELEASE WOULD DO MOVED LEFT TO 35 TO 22 TO 8
UH OH!!  I MISSED RIGHT BALL TO NOWHERE LAND OUT TO THE 3 BOARD AND THE BALL LOOKED AS IF IT WAS KICKED LEFT. AT THAT POINT ID MADE UP MY MIND, IM GETTIN ONE OF THESE. IM WAITING FOR MINE WILL POST REVIEW IN ABOUT  WEEK. GO MO GO.

A lot of this stuff is found on eBay, but a lot of those auctions are from bowlingball.com.  They usually carry a bunch of overseas stuff.

Nice review... you just described almost every ball on the market when used on a house shot.

ok heres a mini review

just so people know what they are looking at

this ball is the exact same ball as the ravage in reaction
it gets to the mid lane and starts torqing up and then it just goes left i cant really use this ball on anything other then fresh when i need to create backend to kick the ten out because this ball gets very itchy and i mean very itchy i will be very misleading at times whether or not you should keep it out of how inconsistent it could be in reaction one will snap tooo much the next not enough
i just try to keep mine at around 1000 to keep it as smooth as possible without losing any hitting power and then i tend to usually switch balls one i feel i need to make an adjustment because this ball takes away all comfort zone like i mentioned before in inconsistency.

sure the people who can dial it in will absolutely love this ball cause it hits like a train its just not worth it to me to keep it out and try to figure it out to a t when i have another ball that will be more appropriate to what I'm facing at the time

i hope this helps anybody that wanted to know about this ball

That's the MB, the CG is a small indentation (punch mark) like you'd find on Brunswick equipment.
