Shock & Awe and Total Shock & Awe reviews
« on: October 05, 2005, 04:06:18 PM »
I've waited a little bit to post my reviews on both of these balls due to my obsessiveness in general about how I am in general.

Let's talk about the Total Shock and Awe first.
Pin is 3 3/4" pin from PAP CG is in the middle of my grip and the Mass bias in the strong position.  I have a Vertigo drilled very similar but the mass bias is in the medium position.  This ball is a chainsaw.  I went to a synthetic house with a longer oil pattern and shot 662 with a 244 with the last game.  This ball is very controllable has a fairly strong breakpoint and carries like any Morich ball does, very well.  This ball will roll out on drier conditions due to the strength of the ball in general.  This ball will "outhook" the vertigo by three-five boards and will roll a little sooner.

Shock and Awe
Pin is 4 3/4" pin from PAP, CG is stacked and mass bias is in the strong position.  The Pin is situated about 3/4" above the ring finger of my grip.  This ball is amazing.  This ball is a skid/snap setup which plays well with how the two houses I bowl at are setup.  This ball is a great compliment to my fired up and the total shock and awe.  This is a medium/oily and medium ball.  Tonight I was playing 19.5 to anywhere from 10-5 and shot 289, 267, 229.  A sticky thumb away from shooting 800.  This ball carries like most morich balls do.  If you are looking for a benchmark ball, I would recommend this one.

I still love my storm equipment but my two morich balls are both very good balls.
