I think S&A will cover more boards than a Flip IMO but Flip is stronger later

Both balls are pretty close to each other. Both have the Vanguard core and use Activator+ from the Absolute Inferno or Vapor Zone at Rough Buff finish OOB. I have the S&A and was able to try a similarly drilled AF of a friend, and v. v., because we were curious aboutr the differences, too.

For me, the S&A with a 4.5" pin to PAP stacked drilling is a very strong ball - it handles medium to medium-oily shots, and moves a lot. It does not like long oil or carrydown, but that's typical for a pearl ball. It will also need some good head oil, because the cover is very aggressive and minor twists to the coverstock prep turned out to change the overall reaction very much - on the S&A as well as the AF.

The Flip has an added flip puck to the Vanguard core which will push the ball a bit further down the lane, making it hook later and a bit more violent - at least, that's what it looks like. The S&A will appear a bit more "rolly", breaking earlier and thus covering more boards (just as mainzer states). The difference is IMHO marginal, though, you will only be able to tell this if you play both balls side by side.
