Just because they manufacture it does not mean they own it. Why would you say that?

Miller and Coors manufacture Samual Adams; they sure don't own it.

Mo uses his own tweaks to the Brunswick covers.  I believe he had his own particles that were added, they weren't the standard Brunswick particles.

There was a post that listed who owned or manufactured who.  The manufacturers are

Storm
Brunswick
Ebonite
900 Global
Visionary
Lanemasters

Storm owns Rotogrip (and, I believe AZO).  Ebonite owns Hammer, Columbia, Track, and Dynothane.  (Previously it was Columbia owns Track and DT and they were a manufacturer as well).

Brunswick makes Morich and Elite.  900 Global makes Lane 1 and AMF (they don't own AMF, they license the name for consumer bowling stuff; AMF pinsetters and scoring systems and house equipment are still done by the separate AMF company).  Visionary makes Banger and Insite.  Lanemasters doesn't make anyone else's stuff.

Except for the "owns", they're all separate companies.

Samuel Adams is brewed in two breweries, one is here in Boston and the other is in Cincinnati, OH. Both are owened by the Boston Beer Company, Inc.

I know, I know...when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor, but I take my micro brew as serious as I do my bowling.

C'mon, slap get real. If you really took your beer seriously, then you wouldn't be drinking Sam Adams ...

charlest- Overall Sam Adams is a quality product, as a beer geek I'm not ashamed to admit I drink it. That said, when I'm shopping for home consumption there are other micros I will pick before SA for most styles. However when at a restaurant and given the choice between BMC, Corona, Heineken or SA, I'll glady order the Sam!

twoheadboy- Support your regional microbrewies! I'm not sure where you live, but chances are there is great beer produced in your area.

Right now I'm drinking Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout, Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale, and Left Hand Brewing Milk Stout. I almost always can pick a beer from Rogue Brewery in Oregon. They seem to me to have a little more character than any Sam Adams.

On checking the refrig this afternoon (Couldn't think of the brewery name):
Long Trail (Vermont) Double Bag Ale.
