WMB Received
« on: November 15, 2004, 10:42:10 AM »
We received a WMB today thanks to Mo. Drilled it for a customer who is a huge fan of Morich. Layout was 3 3/8 x 5 1/4 with the pin 2 inches above the midline. Ball got thru the heads great made a nice smooth and continous move at the breakpoint. The ball hit like a truck. Our customer was in heaven. He is looking to drill two more when our complete stock comes in on Wednesday. Will post a complete review when our customer sends me his thoughts after farther use. So far it looks like another winner from Mo.

We have he WMB set at an introductory price of $130.

I never dreamed it would be me, My name for all eternity, Recorded here at this hallowed place Alas, my name, no more my face. "In the line of duty," I hear them say: My family now the price to pay. My folded flag stained with their tears; We only had those few short years. The badge no longer on my chest, I sleep now in eternal rest. My sword I pass to those behind, And pray they keep this thought in mind. I never dreamed it would be me, And with heavy heart and bended knee, I ask for all here from the past: Dear God, let my name be the last.

I attended the local seminar with Brunswick and Mo today.....the WMB seems pretty cool. It hits well when it is flush, but I did not see it carrying weak or light shots, or high shots.

I will be drilling one soon for a buddy of mine (also a huge MoRich fan) and I will post a review for him.

One comment I do have for about the ball....even dull it clears the heads well and the transition movement is very strong!

Wow I saw the thing today sitting in proshop.

Looks like a friction machine.  A dull piece of burnt ember with STILL a large pin despite what someone said here.

How this is not the heaviest oil ball ever I don't know.  Undrilled waiting for pro shop owner to punch.

That thing has a ton of engraving on it too...  maybe it helps tame it down!!

According to Mo yesterday light load particle.

He had it demonstrated, with the box surface 500 matte finish and only change in drilling (no change in release) the ball easily went from playing 25 at the arrows to 5 at the breakpoint to playing straight down 5.

It was pretty impressive.

EX,....isn't that dependent on lane conditions, rev-rate and all that other "stuff" too.....not necessarily the ball.  I saw a guy throwing the WMB on Saturday and he was carrying the world!

Jeff,

Without a doubt you are correct. However it was not just a normal every day bowler using the ball. I cannot recall his name, but the guy Mo had throwing the ball is the leading regional bowler in the northeast??. Flush hits were awesome....light or high with any of the 3 balls he was using and the ball just didn't take out the pins. HOWEVER-----as I mentioned all 3 balls were box, so I wonder what a bit of polish would have done.

I can say that when the guy thru it here he said the light hits had great carry. He was impressed by that. I watched him throw it last night in league and the ball is awesome. the ball cut thru the swamp in the back of the lane that we always have bowling second shift. The great thing about all the logos is that the ball looks like the guy has a the rev rate of Robert Smith.

Excalibur,

The demonstrator for the Ace Mitchel show was Jack Jurek.

Smooth as silk, that man is.  And a gentleman to boot.

Lance

The sound was different. Almost like a bomb when it hit. The ball moton was definetly what we noticed. I won't be at NEBA, heading to Vegas to try and win the Team Challenge Grand Championships. The WMB will be at NEBA.

I can say this is one of the most anticipated balls coming in this year. After our customers have thrown the TA and the Ravage they can't wait to try the WMB.
