Yet another TS&A cover thread.

i decided to get my TS&A's surface adjusted. Im not sure how or what to adjust it to though. I want it to still be a heavy oil ball, but not the insane hook at your feet ball that it is in OOB condition.


Any suggestions are welcome

Try a high grit finish without polish ou compound. 1.500 grit or 2.000 grit should be worth a try and delay grip to the lane further down without having the ball snap nervously when it finally reaches dry ground. It's also easy to maintain.

I think dizzy is on the right track, but.......I wouldn't go that far yet....

DEFINATLEY NO POLISH...

But I'd start (depending on your style)...with a blue scotch brite (800-1000) then go from there if you need more.

And whats the deal with Abralon? is it just another type of sand paper or something else.

another type of pad,...like scotch brite but leaves a smoother finish (according to my driller) ....and , you can get them at 2000 and 4000 ! So you can go super fine but with no polish

I would start with a Abralon 1000 pad...then 2000 if needed (I haven't found a need for using a Abralon 4000 pad on the TS&A yet).

i too would like to know where i can aquire an abalon pad.


Also, How do i sand the ball, do i need a spinner or can it be done by hand?
