815 with Cruel c51
« on: November 27, 2010, 03:53:07 PM »
This my first Motiv ball and won't be my last. This ball carries corner pins and throws pins around like no other. It has a different kind of punch to the pins than other companies.
I've thrown some nice scores with the ball so far and had to give it some props.
My scores tonight (269-269-277).
Thanks Motiv!

Yes, definitely needs oil to work the way it should, especially in the heads, it's my only ball that has a true mid-lane reaction, it sits just below my Mutant Cell and above my Hy-Road as far as overall hook. I have mine at 4000 grit with 500 grit as the underneath finish.

great shootin'

it's definitely a nice piece to have around, a little sensitive though if it's polished, mine works best at 2000

Thanks guys! Can't wait until the Recon Pearl comes out, it's really going to fill a spot in my arsenal. I could see the Cruel at 2000 would be really nice too.

Damn good set man !!!

I've been playing with different surfaces on mines and I haven't found the right combination yet.  I've tried OOB finish, 1000 grit, and 500 grit.  I can honestly say this ball comes to life and really becomes a true heavy oil monster at lower grit surfaces.  Tonight, I hope is the night for me and my cruel *crossed finger*.  Imma be trying mines at 2000 grit polish.
