Well I’ve completed my new arsenal. All Motiv equipment accept for my spare ball.


Recon RX1         55 x 5 x 40          Light/Dry


Thrash                 60 x 4 ¼ x 30      THS


Raptor Attack   45 x 5 5/8 x 40   Med to Hvy


Raptor P7           20 x 4 x25         Heavy Oil


White Dot                                          Spare


All have the Vise IT system.


I just picked up the Recon and P7 today. Bowled a few games with them and I like how they move. Can’t wait for the tournaments to start and my league Thursday night.

Looks good.  I've been eyeing the Raptor P7 for a while for heavier/longer oil, and would appreciate if you could post some feedback about it once you've used it a few times.  Also, with that drill on it, what kind of reaction are you expecting to see?

I have a recon and a Primal Impulse. 

They are the only 2 balls I pull out of my locker currently for league. 

My recon is more for medium oil than light oil. I wish they would put a sweet plastic ball out with a core. 

Ive been using my old Ebonite purple clearish ball on dry lately. Just tossing it up the outside. Woud love to replace it with a motiv ball.

Pretty miuch since i got it about 6 weeks ago about all i've been throwing is my Primal Impulse. Drilled a Thrash a couple weeks ago and like it as a step down from the PI. I will be drilling a Raptor Attack tues and a P7 soon after

When I go practice my Primal Impulse is money. 

When it comes to league I cant do anything with it. The shot they are putting out on my league night is way to dry for it. 

Heck its to dry for my recon as well. Im throwing a plastic ball with a core.

 Great lineup but you may want to consider a sigma tour between the Rap. Att. and the Thrash. I just got mine a week ago and the ball is a flat out monster on the THS. Motiv is a great company with excellent equipment and great customer service. Definitely glad I made the switch.

The 20 (drill part) I'm hoping it will get into the hook phase quicker on oily patterns where there isn't any dry boards to the outside. The 25 (val part) is when the back ends are tight, The 4" Pin to PAP will help it flare. I'm thinking this will prevent me from overthrowing the pattern.

I threw my first 300 game in doubles during the Missouri State Open Tournament Sunday (4/22/12). I was using my Raptor Attack with an 45 x 5 5/8 x 40 drilling. I had it at 2000 with light polish. We actually took over first place with one week to go.
