Lots of holes!
« on: January 29, 2020, 11:41:56 AM »
No, I'm not drilling anything yet.

So, Nemesis is announced, making waves. Ball guide currently has 4 open spots. What slot do you think needs to be filled with the next release? Something between the Thrill and Hydra? Between Recoil and Supra? Assassin and Ripcord? Forge and Forge Fire?

Personally, I think the gap between Supra and Recoil is big. There's a lot of room there for a more responsive ball than the Recoil but not as responsive as the Supra.

>> What the hell, were did the Venom Shock Pearl go??

In my opinion, Motiv ruined that ball from the beginning. Everyone wanted a Venom Shock with a pearl cover, but what they got was a Shock Pearl and a different weight block. That was not what people were asking for. Had Motiv used the same Venom Shock weight block on the pearl, I think the ball would have been more accepted and more successful.
so you mean the Venom Panic?

I remember when the Motiv chart was only three balls wide.

Biggest hole I see is the one that most are pointing out, between the Supra and Venom Recoil. Those are two wildly different balls for being in the same category.

Not sure I see the gap/needed fill between the Rogue Assassin and Ripcord though. That's probably where I would just use a Venom Shock and be happy with it.

And with that said... here comes another Sniper.  ;D

New Sniper??

Just joking around. But every company should have some option for a spare ball.

Coor0, are you inferring that the Sniper is not a spare ball?

The Artic is true urethane, so it will move a little. The Hyper and Midnight are "polythane." They really do not hook anymore than plastic, but will not crack. I do not know why anyone makes true plastic anymore. It cracks in 6 months. I've had my Hyper for over 2 years, leave it in the trunk year round. Zero issues.

Oh, I'm grabbing a Midnight, but the Arctic always looked cool

Whoops, I was only looking at the ball chart. Forgot they don't include the Snipers in there. Midnight is still current.

Wesley Low used a Midnight last week to help shoot 2 300's on the short
