TR2 Review response @Pinbasher209

I Just had this ball drilled up Saturday, I was looking for a heavy Oil ball, ball speed 15mph Stoker right handed, I was looking for something that would move on the back end, especially when lanes are flooded, TR2 15lbs, pin under ring finger, I threw the ball on THS, and the ball was moving great, I played inside the 10 and it was turning well on back end, then I thew out over the 5 board, and the ball was screaming back. For my low rev's, this ball was moving like crazy, I can't wait until I get in heavy oil to see how this ball rolls. For me this ball is a monster, every time it hits the pins it sounds like a shotgun blast. I would like to say thanks to Bill @ Westlane proshop, Great job on the drilling, and "Yes" I trust you. The ball does exactly what you said it would do. I will keep you posted.

2nd post, with 6 games on the TR2 I was invited to bowl in a behind the curtain tournament, if you haven't seen it, it's different, a curtain keeps you from seeing the pins, you roll the ball under a curtain, then you check and see how you did, this is a no-tap tourney, I shot 700, 800 with handicap. the TR2 was crushing the pocket, I had a few light hits, and the pins were flying, This ball hits like nothng else, 90 bowlers, I'm hoping for top 5. I'll keep you posted.

Follow up with the TR2, I guess I posted too early when purchased, have had the ball since Apr 2010, I thought this ball would be stronger with a stacked leverage, I am a Stroker 15 mph, High track, with the stacked leverage pin low ball tracked over fingers, because of high flare, once fixed, this ball to me was junk 179.00 down the drain, I have a Total NV that's stronger, down 20 pins in average, working with this ball, I did coverstock changes and tried everything I could, Maybe I just didn't match up well with this ball, back to my Yeah Baby, I need to get my average back up. Lane Masters here I come..

@Pinbasher209….Wait a minute…….so you were happy with the ball from the day you purchased, had no problems at all with the ball, shooting good scores, by the looks of the first 2 reviews, and now all of a sudden, the ball is junk and flaring over the fingers? So you took a strong ball and drilled it extremely strong and now its junk? Sounds to me like someone made a change in their game to “all of a sudden” it is flaring over the fingers and then went and threw it on “a condition not suited” for that drill on that ball and says it is junk..? I call BS. This time it is the “USER” not the “BALL”. You matched up fine with it to start with it and now you don't, so leave it at that. This is the type of sh!t that not only MOTIV, but all ball companies don’t need, its crap like this being spewed all over the internet. Yes, I am a staffer for MOTIV, and yes, I am protecting my product as I would hope all others would do to their companies….So flame me if you want, but it is this stuff that makes people question a companies product, when in fact it is the consumer that does not understand it…….IMHO
