Big, big, big thumbs up goes out to Bobby Hall, II for realizing his dream of becoming an exempt PBA member for the 2010-2011 season. I know BHall has been chasing this "carrot" for a long time and I know that he will make the most of his opportunity and show the world that he can in fact "play".

We to go Bobby Hall. We'll be looking for you on TV each Sunday!

Despite what anyone may have to say about Bobby, I don't think there's many who I respect more on their outlook on the game.  I don't think there's anyone I've ever met more driven to get to top.  It's great to see him acheive something he's worked so hard to get.  I think mostly I'm proud for his dad Bobby Sr.  Bobby Sr. is one of the greatest guys I've ever met in my life and when I was working in the industry there's no one I had the pleasure of drilling for more.  His stories on Bobby's toughness and the desire to see his son succeed so much..... it's just fantastic to see a story like this come true.  I honestly think Bobby will do extremely well in an exempt format.  He's fearless on the lanes and more mentally tough than an overwhelming percentage of the tour.  I've always told any bowler I met, if there was someone I had to pick to strike to win against anybody in the world it'd be Brian Cavey or B Hall 2.  If you're reading Bobby way to put ole Capital Plaza on the map on the big stage.  

I think I now have a reason to get interested in the game again.
