Double Elimination Scratch Match Play Tournament

When: Friday 7:30 pm Sign up at 7:00 pm
Where: The Lanes Fort Meade
Cost: $40 ($31 Prizefund $9 Lineage)
Guaranteed $300 First Place based on 16 entries

Format: 16 Players go to double elimination matches. If more than 16 sign up a three game qualifier will be held to cut to the top 16 for matchplay. Brackets and pots are available.

There should be a 3 game qualifier regardless and use it for seeding.

Link, if Double Elimination goes the way we use to do it, the qualifier is just to determine who makes the cut. There was a 2-game qualifier and then it was all a random draw, hence why seeding was not important.

Sounds good! I am just always partial to which ever format bowls more games. Tournament sounds fun and I will try to make it one.

i'm 50/50 on going cause I'm not sure how traffic will be heading there. (coming from National Harbor)
i'm guessing each match is one game only?

This tournament was two weeks ago......its dated for the 5/25....
unless they are having another one. I am so confused!
