Or HJ Malone???

I really have no problem with them drop shipping but when I need stuff drop shipped and they tell me no that they can't do it.. That really makes me mad...LOL!!

Then other distributors actually advertise they do not ship to or for online retailers and I know for a fact that certain distributors do...

That gets me a little PO'd...

Does a bear go poo poo in the woods.

Of course they probably don't sell online dirctly,  but chances are high that they have some online dealers who they supply.

Many large dist.  have fronts, slugs, online dealers that they supply.

It's called playing both ends against the middle.

Sooner or later pro shops who buy from these dist.  will WAKE UP and stop dealing with them.  Untill then, they will continue to get screwed by dist selling both ways.

The word I hear is that online sales are way off!!!!!
And the Dist. who cater to the big online dealers, are hurting!!!!
Mainly because they have to buy in such large volumns to be able to have the msde. to supply to the online dealers.
And now that online sales are way off,  the dist. are hurting.

So now we shall see how much longer these dist. will be able to supply the so called big online dealers!!!!!

Classic example,  one online dealer is now offering free drilling!!!!
Now lets if see mr Buddies will match that!!!!
Grasping at straws.

"every dist. that is successful does"

ya right

When these dist.  go down,  lets see who then supply's  the so called big online dealers!!!!!

Online sales are not down, they were merely stagnant for the first time. Every year for the past 5+ or so, the etailers have shown a growth. The etailers are still responsible for 30% (+ or -) for all ball sales.

Retail sales are down everywhere!!!!!  In all industries!!!  At least here on Earth!!!!

Read the papers!!!!

30%????   So doing the math,  pro shops must be 70%!!!!!!!

42 dist.   now there are 17 left???

Time will tell how many will be left by this time next year!!!!!

Dist.  have to make large volumn purchases to be able to get the prices they need to sell online.  Now with online sales hurting,  dist are having boo koo trouble paying their bills.

And if online sales are doing so well, then why is one place now offering free drilling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grasping at straws.

And everyday, more and more pro shops,  >>> the 70% are finding out who the dist. are that cater to online dealers.  And they are starting to realize that they need to deal with another dist.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now you can go twist and turn this anyway you want.  But much of this came from recent seminar's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Done by you know who!!!!

have a nice day

BTW, let me refresh your memory.   The Fury was DQ,  mainly because certain dist. who cater to online dealers bought boo koo of them, and then, they didn't sell!!!!!!  "Sales had slowed down to a crawl"   Not with my dist.  their sales on the fury were ok,  but then again, they didn't have to buy 1000 at a time to get the best price so they could dump them online like so many others were doing!!!!!!!!!!

Online dealers making $4 per ball!!!!!  And now offering free drilling!!!!

Grasping at straws.

have a nice day again

And please, don't talk to us pro shops like we are all stupid. if things were going so well at Brunswick, you would probably still be with them!!!!!
Now many pro shops were at seminars this week, and we know what we heard!!!!

There is only one reason that a online dealer is now offering free drilling.
He is hurting and grasping at straws to make sales.

No one in their right mind makes $4 a ball profit and drills for free!!!!

give me a break here.

I was at the seminar and I know what was said. And I too have a little insight into things as well...ya know.

You can look at it however you want, but PLEASE remember, there are other opinions out there other than yours. As well as other educated individuals that know what is going on, whether they agree with you, your distributor or preferred ball manufacturer or otherwise.

You have your argument and I see what goes on, from both sides, as well as being a previous owner/operator with a few years experience (a little over 3 months). Take the blinders off and believe that there are other views and opinions than yours.

You were not at the seminar's I was talking about, therefore you did not hear what I am talking about!!!!!

And when the whole country is hurting in retail sales, for you to come on and pretend that online is doing just fine,  give me a break!!!!

Because you once worked for Brunswick does not always make you right!!!!  Now get over  it.

And what is this "arguement" crap.   Statements of fact sir!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So many dist.  jumped on the online bandwagon,  bought boo koo and now are having troubles moving the product.

You just love to try to make pro shops look stupid.

Ya real stupid here.  Less then 5% of our sales are Brunswick!!!!

You sir are brainwashed.

Let me point out the ball companies that are selling well.

Global, Ebonite, HAMMER, STORM, ROTO.

If you talk to pro shops they will tell you that the number of outside balls, balls bought online and brought in to pro shops for drilling, is at a all time low!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is what We are hearing and SEEING.

Consumer's have cut back on everything retail, not just talking about bowling.

Don't you read the papers???

Even Wal Mart is crying.

Give me a break here with you BS.

Your basic Brunswick 101 training doesn't work for me.

I have eyes,  and can see what sells.

Have a nice day

I will merely comment on a few things here...

Don't you think, if I was Brunswick brainswashed I would more than likely still be there?

And wouldn't you think that I would be glad that you are not selling Brunswick products?

If you knew the whole story, you would understand these statements.

I do not think that pro shop operators are stupid. I am a PRO SHOP operator by nature. And the pro shops I deal with know this, as my job for the past almost 10 years has been to help pro shops increase thier businesses. I do not nor have I dealt with etailers.

And sir I refer to facts that I know to be factual. Not merely told to me in a seminar.
