900 Global ----Great customer relations
« on: September 26, 2007, 06:21:45 PM »
I would just like to give Eric Thomas a very big thank you for his help. I had an issue with a break I had ordered from them. when I emailed eric on last wednesday night, got email back thursday morning sent back email that day, then on friday I get email that a replacement was on its way to me via Fedex. it arrived on monday....that would be next day delivery from texas to north carolina. I even offered to pay for shipping but they picked up the tab for it all. I do not know of another company that would do this for a customer. All I can say is that if more companies treated their customer the way eric at 900 global has treated me then the world of bowling would be in alot better position. and I am very proud to sell 900 Global in the the proshop I work in......keep up the good work 900 Global

jls do you have to make an issue about everything.  WOW the world is coming to an end a bad ball?????  Big deal it was taken care of.  Unlike alot of other companies which would of stalled it for a couple of months Eric took car of it right away.  Who cares every company has some bad equipment come out.  Just give it a rest.  If you are that bored that you spend all day making numerous posts then get a JOB to keep you busy.

Agree 100% it seems like jls just loves to stir things up, jls you would fit in good on the Brunswick forum they seem to do the same thing. I can honestly say that the few times I needed info from Phil or anyone that was associated with him in the past I always got a prompt reply, and from the sounds of it 900 Global is heading the same direction. Keep up the good work Phil and Eric I can't wait to try out the Break.

Do you own a phone, jls?  Wait, of course you do, you're bound to have one at your pro shop.  So, call 900 Global directly and ask them any questions you want.  They'll probably be more likely to answer, and we'll be less likely to hear your random rantings about it.  I'm sure you can put the TV on "mute" while watching women's golf long enough to make a phone call.

No no no, you misunderstood.  I just said mute the TV so you can still watch it while on the phone!  Multi-tasking, my friend!

Hmm...  good point.  Excuse yourself for a moment and say you had to help a customer or something whenever she's putting.  They think you're actually working and you aren't drooling and stumbling over your own words while on the phone.  It's a win-win situation!

Yeah Eric is a awsome guy I had the chance to work with him during my stay at Columbia.  He's even a better buddy in Vegas but we won't get into that on this site...LOL.  Keep up the hard work and keep sending me those free balls!

I'm missing some posts in this thread or something, but.....

I'm lucky to have met Phil over the years a number of times, and Eric a few times while I was down in Houston.  Phil is a pretty good judge of people, he keeps pretty good people around him.  Eric is a good dude.  Global may never be a gigantic ball producer, but they will be successful.

I've read through all of the first few posts and I just don't understand why you guys are ripping DR REVS, he's giving Props to Eric and 900 Global, if you don't like him, don't respond to him!

My Seahawks are on their way to a 5th straight NFC West Crown, I'm hoping for a Dallas Cowboy rematch in the play-off's!

drrev,  they are not,  i believe they where talking about me.
i asked the question about what was the "drilling issue"
to me,  i thought it was more of a layout issue.  it was not.
as eric pointed out,  it was a cracking issue due to the finger hole being drilled too close or into the pin.

900global replaced the ball,  and as eric pointed out,  probably most companies would not have done so.

great ball from a great new company

ok this has gotten way off the topic that i started with, it was not a cracking issues other than the fact that I drilled too close to the pin. and it did start to crack from the ring finger to the pin no where else. and that the ball still performs flawlessly. i have since plugged and redrilled the damaged area and fixed the ball. this was in no way am error on 900 globals fault. i was willing to pay for a new ball since they did not drill it. i had jls on ignore and did not even know he had responded until i had rebooted my laptop anf was reading the forums with out being logged in. but to close this out eric went way beyond the call of duty and that is something i will not forget. i will be pushing his bowling balls once i get the stitches out of my bowling hand(accident at my real job)and get back in the shop. it will not be hard to sell the 900 global stuff since the quality and customer service is so awesome. and if anybody on here doesn't like me or what I say then ignore me, i try to help out everybody including other proshops as best i can. so if you have a problem with me or something i say send me a pm or call the shop. i am not hard to find. so in closing 900 global might be a small company right now but if they keep producing quality product like the break then they will not be a small company for long.

thank you
