Banger Bowling
« on: September 06, 2007, 08:32:00 AM »
I would like to take a few moments of your time to express my opinions and experiences with Banger.

I was hired to be a sales rep for Banger Bowling back in July. I worked Bowl Expo in the booth and I also made sales calls to try to get this product out into the public. I felt like there was something really good here with this product and the people around the company. My relationship with Banger unfortunately just didn't work. I believe our thought processes just weren't on the same level at this time.

I would also like to say that as much as my personal dealings with Banger Bowling didn't work out, that this company is trying to do the right thing for its customers. I always believed that David's thoughts and ideas were for the good of bowling and his customers!  I am sure that if there are any problems, Banger and Visionary will be able to work them out.

With that I would like to wish him the best of luck with the future of his company. I appreciate everything he did for me and the opportunity he gave me.

U know George, that was a really good thing u did. Most people, if they didn't have a good experience, would've came on here and started bad mouthing the company. U had enough dignity to come on here and just state, u didn't agree with their ideas so u left. Thanks for being an honest person George and i wish u good luck in ur next endeavors.

WALTER, U is spelled YOU and UR is spelled YOUR! Now too Banger, If you have to Steal an old Visionary weight Core & Cover like what's been done with the Hole Pounder series and the New OLD Hole Finder series, don't CHARGE higher prices than Visionary did when they sold these balls! If you Truly designed any of your balls and made them, then you (Did U see that Walter, it's spelled You) could sell your balls for Premium prices!

Well, if you would like to challenge his way of posting, you should be available to be criticized also.

Only proper nouns are capitalized, so your random capitalization of "Steal" "Core", "Cover", "Truly" and "Premium" is incorrect. The fact that you capitalized the length of "OLD" and "CHARGE" is wrong too.

If you want him to be perfect, then I suggest you be perfect too.

If you're going to be picky like that, at least learn the difference between "to", "too", and "two".    And capitalization has rules, you know?  You can't just capitalize words in the middle of sentences willy-nilly.  If you want emphasis, there are ways to do that as well.

I am not so sure that Banger went about this the right way, either.  You are taking a ball that came out roughly 5 years ago, changed the color and the name, and are selling it online almost the same price as the Blue Sparkle at retail in pro shops.  I just dont see the common sense and marketing genius behind this.  Maybe they were fast-tracking to making more money to get the company up and going.  Who knows?  I would love to get my hands on a Hole Pounder Pearl.  However, I can't justify paying almost 200 bucks as an online price just to get one when I can probably locate a NIB Blue Sparkle for less than half that (as I already did a year ago).

Just wait, Mr. Atwood will be selling some balls on here for 100.00 real soon, that’s if he can get enough money to get the balls from visionary. (He will have a few here shortly) He finally got up enough money to send the hole finders to USBC.

He did promise shops that he would never sell them on-line. Liar!! People have asked him to explain himself about the ballreview fire sale. He talks out of both sides!!

Visionary does not need this type of publicity; Jason is a class person with a good rep in the bowling industry. IM very surprised he is still with banger, but what I understand is that several hole finders have already been made so Jason had no choice but to give Mr. Atwood another chance.

I’m also sorry to hear that David. And speaking of morons, people like him don’t realize what century they are living in. Coming on here and posting a review or opinion is one thing, defaming a person or company is another. Here’s a little tidbit for you people that like to remain anonymous and post these nasty statements about people and companies.

Check it out bowlu4it & throwitright, they “CAN” find out who you are.

Libel involves false statements knowingly presented as fact. Cyberlibel is a catchphrase for defamation that takes place through the Internet, either on messageboards, email, blogs, chatrooms, personal websites, or other published articles.
In recent years cyberlibel has become an issue. Although many citizens do not yet realize it, comments made to chat boards, newsgroups and even mailing lists are all forms of publication. Criticisms of companies or their goods can be a basis for libel charges if the poster misrepresents facts. Businesses recognize the power of the Internet. Word-of-mouth becomes exponential when comments are posted to a worldwide medium.

Good Luck to you and your company David.

David,

I think you are doing great with Banger I have a HPP and it rocks when the lanes are dry I have great control and energy retention in the pins when there is a meduim shot the ball has more lenght and a stronger backend with the same power in the pins. Havent had a ball this good in awhile and I am waiting for Solid Hole Finder release. Screw these people with small minds that attacking you and the company keep up the good work and keep that model around, Great Bowling balls are even better when she is holding them up for me to see!

I honestly can't figure this one out .. I know Dav was  moving his shop from RENO to VEGAS and had some bowling balls he offered as a sale to BR members. I saw it and bought one (still haven't drilled it). Why is that upsetting to BR members? Seems to me that they would be overjoyed! I'm missing something .. what is it?

On edit: Incidently GOOD LUCK mvpbowler!
