Also, could you even make an arsenal with their stuff? It seems that most of their stuff is for med. to heavy oil. I that what the Satisfaction is for now?

yes, it is still available.  I would also try the absolute power or the satisfaxtion as well.  In a couple of months, they are supposed to be releasing the "Flatline" which I hear will be a great drier lane ball....  The new masterpiece is reactive , and may also fit the bill for you..

Now are these balls that you mentioned designed for this condition out of box, or do you have to do some cover preperation?

It all depends on the way you throw the ball. If you have avg revs and average ball speed, the Satisfaxion and the Absolute Power, with "average" pin positions are for medium oil patterns. The Satisfaxion is a flippier ball, while the Absolute Power is a more even reacting  ball If you have higher ball speed PLUS lower revs, they will handle lighter oil patterns. With weaker pin positions PLUS modified coverstock surface preparations (finer sanded grits, like 1500 grti, and polish) and medium revs and ball speed, they can handle lighter oil patterns.

I am not sure about their newest resin ball, the Masterpiece. I will be drilling it up tomorrow and offering my test results in the near future, for whatever that is worth.

Sometime, in the near future, Lanemasters will be offering a true dry lane ball, somewhat, I'd hope, in the nature of Track's Desert Heat.

charlest--Please do put up a mini-review when you get time.  I am very interested in this ball and from the BTM review....they gave it some of the highest marks for an all around ball.  Like to try a Legends ball and this maybe it.

I actually threw the answer, which i believe is still available, and it excelled on a drier pattern, but i'm kind of a cranker.

Found out that the light oil ball that they will be bringing out will be called the Straight Flush. It's supposed to be for light to dry conditions.

You're making snap judgements based on what someone heard. Not a safe idea. If  agood pro shop cna drill a Colossus fo rlight oil lanes, then they certainly can drill a Sahara for light oil, based solely on the weak coverstock and the flexibility of the MoRich cores. If someone not so educated put a strong drilling on a ball and then used it on the wrong oil pattern, anything can go wrong, as in bad assumptions. Betetr safe than sorry!
