I have a new standard that i have been using for eigtht months on wooden
lanes. The ball no noticeable track wear at all.
What makes these balls so durable?

The Legends people at their sevice hotline tell me they use "premium" resins. I have no particular idea why they seem so hard to track out for most people. I just take them at their word, that they got the best they can afford to put in their balls.

One other detail that seems to help their balls be what they are: they use no fillers between the core and the coverstock. The coverstock material itself covers the entire core. FWIW my driller thinks their cores are very hard. he doesn't say that about many cores; he also thinks Visionary cores are harder than average.

I would definitely agree with charlest on durability as far as the Legends/LM product line is concerned and also that both Legends/LM equipment as well as Visionary cores are very hard.  My driller says the same thing.  I am not sure hardness in their cores equates to anything but I find both lines hit very hard for me.

i knew the diamond particles, being harder than other particles, would make those more durable, but that's good to hear about the reactives too. i might have to grab a masterpiece now!!
