Hoping to get my World Class drilled to today and do a brief 2-3 game comparison to my Big Kahuna, New Standard and Yeah Baby! Can't do too much, as I'm bowling tonight.

Still waiting to hear some reports on the new pearl: The Buzz.
Anyone playing with one yet??

To bump the post and keep "pimping" the "L/L" line of balls and their service ....
I recently got a single drill New Standard off eBay(in great condition and had layout that I liked). I consulted with Galen on how to get the ball back to its OOB condition (800 wet-sand; after rolling it, I talked to him some more, told him about the ball and the reaction, and told him that I wanted to "tame" it down A LITTLE since it was to be my new "benchmark" ball. He listened patiently, as usual, and told me to hit it with a fresh grey scotchbrite pad and to follow it with a new 1000 abralon pad, and then he reminded me to call anytime with questions or feedback !!! To finish the thread ... DONE !!! And I got the ball to react just as I wanted !!!
Thanx again to Galen and the "L/L" line

FUnny, I recently hit my NS with a 2000 grit Abralon. It is now more of a medium ball, with less flip than my Absolute Power, but needs head oil and can't handle medium-light that the AP can. The AP is not normally flippy, as long as there's enough oil. But one of the comparisons I need to do is the Big Kahuna vs this 2000 grit NS.

I also posted this in the first thread my first game with the world class was an eleven strike 261, i pulled the 5 th frame inside and went out 7-0 all other balls rolled flush and blew the rack apart. I did this on lanes 1 and 2 of my house which is known for the pin decks being down about 3/4 of an inch farther than the rest of the house from that fine Las Vegas construction we have out this way lol

I had a polished BK with me the same day it was much more angular than the WC but the WC had alot earlier move and still had as much backend. The legends balls hit super hard and roll true shot after shot, they cost a little more by they are backed better than any other ball company out there.

You just cant best the lane master/legends company relations. I hade a bit of a problem with my yeah baby and they sent me another to replace it. All the way to the UK.
I decided as I could still use the YB dull but it wouldnt be any good shiny then I would try their World Class. What a choice. For me it fits in between the dull YB and my Absolute Power beautifully.
I cant see me buying from another manufacturer in the future as they are so good a product and backed by superb customer services.

I just wish I could bowl more to need some of the other balls in the line.

Cost has been a factor for many persons in buying these balls but they are excellent pieces of equipment

DId a brief test today, but the lanes were a little dry.
BK and WC had same drilling and stock surface: Wc was much earlier with more backend - too much for this oil.

NS and YB on the same oil were different from the WC and BK: earlier and smoother (never, ever thought of the YB as early previously; always longer and more angular than the NS). Interesting and intriguing.

Have no idea how JS uses the WC on our house condition unless he's getting very lucky and seeing more oil than I see. It's a very f**ked up house, regarding taking care of the lanes. I definitely won't be back there next year, at least until they put in synthetic lanes.

Laybzz74,
I know a guy who wants to get rid of his NS pretty cheap. I need to know, will this ball work after the heads are blown and you need to move deep left?

"After the heads are blown"? Nope!
This is a light load, early rolling, solid particle ball. If you add a light dose of polish (generally NOT advised with this ball), it will clear the heads easier, as with all balls. Depending on how badly "the heads are blown", AND how fast you throw the ball, you need a polished pearl or a polyester ball.
