Isn't the Rio the name of their shoes?

I am anxious as I will probaly be going all Circle Atheletics in early december.  From what I've seen from the Hero and Mega Idol, they look very good.  The Mega Idol is very reminescent of the Ultimate Inferno.

I hope the hard core is as cool as it sounds the Rio is the line of plastic spare balls from Circle this I know for sure. Oh and yes Rio is also the name of their shoes.

I just got an email from Circle Athletics..."...the Hard Core is a new High performance ball by Circle that is reactive and it is a very aggressive ball."

Sounds very interesting...

Sorry...that's all I got...

now...if we want to start guessing...Storm makes them...so...if it's a reactive and very agressive...would that make it similar to the XXX...monsoon based cover?

Just a thought.

I think it'll be different, kind of like what Columbia is doing with that epoxy ball with AMF.  I'm not saying that Circle is going to have some revolutionary cover on their ball, i'm saying that I think Storm is going to try something different, test market it on the Circle balls, and then later use it on their own stuff.

That's an interesting idea...that would be one way for Circle as a new company to make a huge splash in the industry...

The Super Hero is already XXX Based, just a weaker core.  The Idol, although it is monsoon based is more along the lines of an El Nino gold IMO.  Mega Hero looks like an Ultimate Inferno on the lanes(When polished) so they all look like pretty good pieces.  If everything goes through well enough for me, I should have the whole Circle lineup by December 10th.

I hear the Hard Core should be out in a week or two.  Talked to Lonnie last saturday and he really likes it.  Chip threw it last week in Joliet and it is a lot more hook than the others. I have both the Hero(High Rg symmetrical Reactive) and Idol(Asymmetrical Particle) and they match up well on house conditions. For those who haven't tried Circle balls I think you would be pleasantly surprised, great balls and great company, all about helping bowlers.
