If I recall in my conversation with Phil last week the "additive" was a friction enhancer. The ball is for medium to medium light conditions, so it should fall under the Bank Pearl in total boards covered. I can tell you it surprised me, I'll post a mini review on it tonight or Friday, I've thrown it on a blown up house shot, left over from the previous nights league, the ball was very consistant, hard hook, not skid snap, good continuation, carried off pocket hits very well. Ball has a lot of eye candy and shelf appeal.
