I noticed that.  That was very impressive -- what he said (starting his swing lower, staying behind the ball and coming up the back of it more) was not only using some bowling lingo, but he was actually correct!  For not knowing anything about bowling prior to this season, he's learning pretty quickly!  I thought Stoner did a great job on the telecast today overall.

I doubt that...I don't think if I was thrown in to commentate on anything that I was unfamiliar with I'd sound as good as he does after the 5 or so weeks he's been doing it (not counting the two we had to deal with a REAL problem on color). Like I said, at least he's trying and enthusiastic, and hard as I try not to I'm sure I'm going to start using hambone sarcastically and then gradually it will become normal lingo that will occasionally get a laugh but be more accepted than anything.
