Ernie,
The ultimate "head-case" . . .
He is entertaining. It was good to see him win.
Talk about a glutton for punishment...
See the stat on-screen: Ernie bowled more PBA gmaes than anyone else in history...or was it events?

Ernie is certainly one of the more "entertaining" bowlers out there. He's still going strong!
The first time I ever bowled around him I was bowling a team event with his wife. His team was on the other pair...
I missed my first 2 shots dead right - left a 2-4-5 each time. He started in telling me how to adjust, how I didn't know how to read the ball reaction, etc, etc. I told him the first time that I missed my target. I told him EMPHATICALLY the next time. He kept talking...
I threw the next 9 in a row at him. He finally shut up. BTW - I beat him by about 40 sticks that game.

I love Ernie.

Im not one to admire the yakkers, but as Earl Anthony pointed out, Ernie is just trying to get the other guy thinking of anything but bowling.  Mumzie did it right, let the ball talk the talk
