I have never been a big Randy Pederson fan, but I really feel sorry for him today.   It has to be annoying.

I think they put him there to make people appreciate Mr. Stone a little more than before. Kind of like a "See, it could be this bad" thing.

I am digging how annoying this guy is lol.

This is a very entertaining show.  PDW is a man on a mission, and calling fools out for cameras lol.  I love it.

fortunately i've muted the broadcast and can't hear his obnoxious commentary anymore . . . i can only hope they'll pan over to a shot of randy beating the guy to a pulp!!

....Richard Simmons' husband as far as I'm concerned. I'm crafting a resume' right now for next week's telecast.  That is of course, after 30 minutes of research on the sport. F&%$K You, ESPN.

+1......fvcking ESPN is killing the PBA....did you see the promo's for next week? It is getting ridiculous.

I liked the new Storm commercial though....it seems to me that the ball companies should be putting more ads together and buying air time.

What bowlers may not get is that Bill Simmons has a large built in ESPN audience.  He fully admits that he's not a bowler and isn't trying to act like he knows the game, or trying to overpower Randy.  If you read his columns or listen to his podcast, he's actually a bit low key on the broadcast.

I find nothing wrong with bringing in some different personalities that might bring in a different audience.  As both a bowling fan and someone who reads his columns, I thought it was fine for a one-time affair.

This guy is an idiot. It's bad enough the PBA/bowling is a joke to anyone and everyone except us who really care about our sport. Now they bring this guy in and have him just completely degrade our sport. Go write something about Bill Russell, you JACKASS!

i was fine with bill simmons on today.  so what if he doesnt know bowling that well? he's a CASUAL at best bowler..ya know, like 95% of the population.  ctwings said it best, he has a large following.  although i am sure he was cued in on randy's worst break of bowling on you tube, at least he took the time to watch it.

if we are going to villify bill simmons, and by extension his followers, and by further extension casual couple times per year bowlers, then bowling as a SPORT really will die.

let the sports guy get kelly kulick on his podcast, or write an article about her, and maybe another avenue for growing the SPORT of bowling is opened.
