Choke Artist Chris Choking Again LOL

Well last game he strikes solid to win the game by playing over the left gutter.  Now to play Norm Duke, he decides to move all the way to the right gutter.  He has 43 in the 3rd frame and missed the head pin in the 2nd frame LOL.

People like you roam all over the internet - especially on sports forums or bodybuilding forums. 'XYZ, just played terrible today, he sucks'. This is where people like you come in and say, "well...uh.. HE IS BETTER THAN YOU" LOL, no really? Well if you can't take the heat, then get out of the fireplace. People that criticize critism are the true whiners on any topic.

 


I guess people will twist logic any which way to justify themselves...

Jeff, thanks for the fair unbiased look at the inside. We get alot of armchair quarterbacks and it becomes difficult to discern the b.s. frequently. i for one enjoy your perspective. (no i am not sucking up.)

What exactly has he done?  I stopped buying C300 balls since he became a sponsor for it, I'd prefer not seeing him on TV since he has had way too many chances only to blow it, he does nothing but overthink and choke recently, and overall he is taking up a spot that could be better used by someone else.

You can talk trash and call him a choker all you want, hell i can't stand the guy but, do not take away the things he has done for this sport.  There is NO ONE that has done as much as he has in youth development and overall image for the sport than Barnes.

Chris Barnes's objective while on the PBA is to make a living to support his family, and a he does a very fine job at that (he bowls extremely well during the week, and places himself in a position to make lots of dough, regardless if he wins or not).

Criticism from small-minded individuals leveled at his performances on television, is a reflection of their own ineptitude and lack of achievement.  

Wishing failure on anyone is cowardly and despicable.

Incidentally, Necro, Barnes banked more money in the past few years than the bowlers you mention above (including Walter Ray), great as they are.

I agree with you 100%.  However, I do root for others' failure.  When the target is Bill Belichick, does it still count?

Chris Barnes is a tremendous bowler and if I could throw the ball 1/100th as good as he can, I'd be a very happy camper.  Remember, to "choke" on TV means that you also had to outlast a bunch of other guys out there who are trying to make a living as well in order to get on the telecast.

In order to lose that many finals, you also need to make that many finals.

It is because I don't relate to his game.  I didn't say he sucks.  I relate to more power players like Robert Smith or Tommy Jones.  It is like in basketball, I can relate to the way Allen Iverson plays and that and Michael Jordan are who I tried to emulate.  I didn't try to emulate Shaq or any other tall dudes that can't shoot.  Me and Duke have zero in common when it comes to bowling.  I have about 2x the speed and revs as he does and that is just how I play.  So there!
