Hell, if I didn't know better I would assume that the majority of posters in this thread are a bunch of 13 year old boys.  Do you guys make fun of every overweight person you see?  Yes, I know, Dale Traber has a big gut.  Who really cares?  We are watching the PBA, not America Next Top Model.

Im 20, but dude the guy is one cheeseburger from a heart attack! He doesnt throw the ball that great. I would honestly say I throw a better ball. Now am I as good as him? Heck No!

No one is exactly bashing on his game, just the fact that he looks terrible! He needs to take some time to himself and try a weight plan or he will be on the table getting quadrupple bypass surgery.

When I saw who was on TV today I knew there would be some wanna be bowlers making comments about Traber. He has always been big from what I have watched on tour. So go ahead and make your smart comments, but remember one thing. He was on TV today,WERE YOU?

i've bowled against dale traber in pba midwest regional tournaments. this man knows how to play the game. that's all that should matter.

Dale Traber is enormous.  If he was just some guy on the street, I wouldn't even notice him.  But he isn't on the street, he is on television.  Not only on TV, but on TV representing the sport I play.  Would you want this guy to be the public representative for your company?  I think not.  DT needs to take some time off, and lose some weight.  Not only because it makes the sport look better when he makes the show, but because if he doesn't, he is bound to collapse and die on the approach some day soon.  He may be a better bowler than every person who has ever posted on these boards, but may also be fatter than every person to ever post on these boards..... combined.

Bowlers are considered athletes. If someone is that obese, the sport gets a bad rap from the general tv viewer. Guaranteed, tomorrow the fellas at work will be making jokes about Traber because they know that I watch bowling on Sunday. If someone is that overweight, it will get noticed anywhere. On or off television. IMHO, Traber is an embarrassment to the sport on television. Can I beat him? Probably not.  

Scroggins is not the best looking dude in bowling, but he looks professional and has style. Traber is revolting. If the general public had to watch Trabers on a weekly basis, they would probably find another channel to view and tv bowling would go away forever.

He can be the greatest bowler in the world but he still looks nasty. I would never go on tv looking like that my stomach 2inches from the floor and then holding pickles

I just had a thought. Picture Dale doing the Machuga flop. OMG He might explode on the lane.

I'm sorry. I am not young. I have a big gut, but Dale is so big, he's in the heart attack stage of extreme obesity. I can't even believe he has the energy to bowl all the games he does for the week. If the camera added 40 pounds to him, he'd still be obese.

And I am most definitely NOT putting down his skills as bowler. The man is a monster on the regionals with 35 wins. That is nothing to sneeze at. Everyone must fear any regional that he enters. I wish I had 1/10 th his bowling skills.

But, darn, I actually fear for his life, with every breath he takes.
