I read that a lot of the big names withdrew this week.  Does anyone know why?

I heard something about a lot of guys getting sick this week?  I don't know if that's true, but maybe there was a real bad flu bug going around or something.

If you aren't watching 'The Wire,' the government should be forced to come to your house and repossess your television. END OF STORY!

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...

BOB:  Did you see the way she was lookin' at me?
DOUG:  Yeah, because she thought you were some kind of freak!

I would say that is probably correct.  I was in vegas this past week, got there right after the pros finished bowling(how sad is that).   My fiancee got sick after we were only there 1 day & right b4 we left i started getting sick.

In a place like vegas, where at any given time u have people from virtually every state in the US, plus u r randomly touching money, chips & slot machines.  How does anyone NOT get sick?

Jeff Carter was sick in Vegas - as were some of the other bowlers. I imaging it's spread through the rest of the field.

Duke is out with a broken toe - still. Don't know what his prognosis is to return.

Monacelli has been out for quite a while. Anyone know what's up with him?
