If Bowling in Olympic ?
« on: April 25, 2006, 04:59:39 AM »
A interesting topic. (may be)
What is your choice for the team USA. (a Dream Team?)
4 men in a team, 1 is reserve.
Here is my choice
1. Norm Duke
2. TJ
3. Chris Barnes
4. PB III
5. Patrick Allen
Any other good idea?

Are you sure of that?  Many other sports, including ice skating and basketball, allow pros to compete.  The original post mentioned the Dream Team, which was the US basketball team that was all NBA pros in the first year they allowed real pros to compete.

I agree, though, that pros shouldn't be allowed to compete.  They have their own competitions, and the Olympics should be about amateur players (even nominal amateurs who more or less make their living competing).

WRW
Weber
Duke
PA
TJ

And if any of them get injured then I would have to go with big Mike Scroggins!!! As long as it isn't televised he should do aight.

And just curious, wouldn't Mika go to the Finland team? Granted, he would probably be the entire team, but just spitballing.
