Insight from Geico (1stblock)
« on: February 23, 2006, 08:28:03 AM »
Talk about a crowd...the bowlers said it was the largest group of fans to attend the first 7 game block all year! Te fans were treated to some great scoring, and from all parts of the lanes....including Devaney and Bakes firing 300's at each other on the same pair.

Voss, Duke, McCune and a few other righties playing up the twig, while most were between 12 to 20 at the arrows and finding the break at about 8-10. Even Liz Johnson was swinging it a bit.

PA was hanging the gutter mostly of what I saw of him. Most of the left side was playing it straigher up. The kid Ciminelli is showing "maple moxy" and so far living up to his reputation in Juniors.

On a side note or two....my fiance and I had the pleasure of sitting with Mrs. PDW the 1st two games. Duke continues to deserve his accolades as he was seen treating the young volunteers very graciously during the event. Should be a real interesting shoot out, I mean tournament.

BTW....kinda amazing, especially considering the size of the area.....6 out of 64 are "locals", Ciminelli, Johnson, Angelo, Baker (recently went south), Jurek, and Ciccone.

24 is not my age, IQ, or bowling average, but my firematic number, at least I think that what it is
