I was watching some old telecasts on youtube, and saw a match between Joe Firpo and Philip Ringener...What ever happened to Joe Firpo?

Never bring up the name Bob Vespi to Pete Weber, the rumor is that Vespi cheated with Pete's first wife. If you watch telecasts from the late 80's you will see the 1 st wife in the background on a show or two, one show sitting next Dick Weber. She was a pretty hot chick probably better looking than Tracey, who will not even say hello when you sit next to her. My and the wife sat on the bleacher behind Tracey at the henderson stop and she is not that nice in person.

Joe Firpo was my favorite bowler back around 10-12 years ago.  When I was learning to how really bowl, he was the guy I tryed to emulate.  I always wondered what happened to him.

I've never had a problem with Tracy.
Had plenty of laughs with her and Pete.

I could care less really but we sat directly behind and said hi when she sat down, oh yeah she is friendly to anyone she knows her about 5-6 people came over and gave her a hug and kiss. What was funny is she and pete give hand signals too each other after about every shot, she also sends text messages when he is bowling.

I am sure if you know this lady she is cool, but nobody's like me and the wife are not worth saying hello too. Chrisman on the other hand was very friendly and talked with him about 5 minutes, so there i can almost get along with someone.

amish,

You are not very bright.  You must bowl 15 frames since 10 frames are for Quakers.  Right?

Anyway, Joe Firpo lives here in Atlanta, GA.  He is a Finance Manager for a Volvo Dealership here in town.  He bowls in my league on Wednesday Night and still throws the ball quite impressively.  He shot a 855 a couple years ago and still averages in the mid 220s.

FWIW, Joe cut off the mullet years ago.

Could that be considered coaching?  Maybe not the text messages if she's not sending them to Pete, but hand signals.  I understand she's quite a skilled bowler in her own right; she probably knows her husband's game well enough to make a few comments on it.

I overheard Joe talking to my team mate last Wednesday Night and heard him mention that he may take a crack at the US Open this year.  I, personally, would love to see that happen.  I will be one of his biggest fans.
