His first and only regional....this year....shark

Took out Ryan Shafer in round of 8.

Experts who think the world of his game for top hat high scoring....feel shark is the only PBA pattern he can have high placements on.....I know not why....and they don't expect much on other "jumpier" patterns.

REgards,

PS Robert is from what I have seen a gentle powerhouse and would not make comments like the Robert Musthare(sp) poster above.....IMHO...

I've never bowled a regional, LL. Then again, I have nothing to prove to anyone since 99% of the bowling world doesn't have good reason to accuse me of being a fraud.

I don't know the kid and can't make a judgement call as to what he did or didn't do. LL posted what he did in a regional and that speaks more volume than us be critical of the kid. He was awarded the score by USBC and I can't prove he didn't do it, but he can prove that USBC approved it! Let give him a chance and who knows what might happen. Plus, the phony guy posting with the Robert Musthare name can't even spell Robert Mushtare correctly! Good luck kid and knock em dead! Just my $.02, Bruce

Again...I believe that skills that tear up a top hat are NOT the same skills that tear up many of the difficult PBA patterns.

I've watched a lot of golf....and a lot of bowling.  There are easy course specialists in golf and hard golf grinders and FEW that could do both!  Bowling to me seems to be similar.
Tiger Woods is definitely one of them.  Nicklaus was more of a hard course star who did NOT win many scorefests.

Frankly....I'm surprised at his one regional outing though a much better judge of ability predicted shark would be his best pattern by far.
I didn't expect much.....and I don't expect much on a regional shot of any other type.  I hope I'm wrong.

Frankly I wish he'd stop trying to impress the skeptical bowling community and instead went back to bowling on top hats and ripping high 8s and staying just a ripem up stay at home bowler.

BUT it seems he has virtually stopped bowling on easy conditions or leagues.

REgards,

Luckylefty
PS I was not aware but I see he has some honor scores since his 900s.  Some 300s and 800s.
Some at the Syracuse Flamingo bowl which if I remember right is more of a tournament type shot and not really ones typical top hat...as relayed to my by a poster out here who also competed.  Don't remember the name.....

The thing about Mushtare is not whether he's a good bowler or not.

I think we can all consider him well above average for a kid his age.

The thing that's in question is his morals...the likelihood of him shooting 1 900 series, let alone multiple are slim to none, with slim on his way out of town.

Because of this fopah(sp?), as it were, many people are less likely to trust his skill. It's the story of the boy who cried wolf, sorta. Only this time, a wolf never really did come along, just a small dog, but the moral of the story stands: nobody is going to believe any ounce of what he says is credible because the 900s aren't...and those are what he's [in]famous for.

Did he bowl the first 900? Maybe. Maaaaaybe. The others? No friggin' way.

The 3 years he bowled JOG I finished ahead of him there. House shot game or not, he's still a jackass liar.

Lol, anyone can knock them all down. How many people do you know that can pick 2 off?

The amazing thing? He took the 1-5 out of a full rack.

I had 3 or 4 300s and 5 or 6 front 11s in practice in a 3 week stretch about 2 months ago...I was on fire.

I promised myself the next time I got to front 11, I'd shoot for 292. Never got to front 11 again.
