PBA bowler you want to see have a breakout year?
« on: July 28, 2009, 07:47:12 AM »
With the PBA tour about to get underway with The WSOB,is there  any exempt or non exempt member you
want to succeed that has had no success or very limited success have a break out season?

My choice has got to be Tim Mack.I have always wondered how could do if he was healthy.

Jason Sterner.  Local guy I have known for a long time who was a rookie last year.  Now that he has his feet wet, like to see him break out and have a good year.  Would like to see Robert Smith get back to where he was about 5 years ago.

I would like to see O'Neill do well.. it is painful to watch him blow up on tv and live.  I have seen him live twice and the frustration you can see on tv is 100 times maginfied in person.  He looks ok at the beginning.. you can tell he isn't 100% confortable but as soon as he throws a bad shot or gets a bad leave you can see him self destruct.  He loses it and his talent can't get through all of the emotion thoughts going through his head.

Robert Smith, Tommy Jones, and Jason Couch. I would like to see all three of them have great years.

I'd like to see Jeff Carter have a great season, but....

I really want to see Tommy Delutz Jr. have a breakout season.  He has so much talent and throws such a great ball to only have 1 title.  Not to mention he is one of the nicest guys ever.  Bowled 2 Pro-Ams with him and would never hesitate to do that again.

Sterner is a monster. I think if he made a show or two people on here would love to watch him bowl. He would be a love him or hate him type I think---but I dont think thats a bad thing. Would be good to get someone with some attitude out there.

besides like once, from what i can remember o'neill has shot good every time he's lost, hes usually going 230+ and loses. Like this year the one show, he rang a ten pin to lose by a few pins, nothing you can do about that. He is usually bowling pretty well, but carry behooves him in the clutch.

I think Bill O'Neill already had his breakout year, now he just needs some titles.  I'd like to see Dino break through and get some shows under his belt.  It'd also be good to see Lonnie Waliczek get back to winning.

Besides the obvious props for BR member Jeff Carter, I'd like to see Tony Reyes get back in form following a couple of injury filled (deferred exemption) seasons.
Also, how about Maximum Bob (Robert Smith), Double D (Dave D-Entremont), and Ken Simard?
