PBA League TV show
« on: April 18, 2016, 11:11:51 AM »
I watched the first two hour shows this past Sunday, 4/17/16.
This seems more fun than most tournament shows. I actually enjoyed it so much (partly due to being able to turn off the volume most of the time) that I found myself not rooting for one team or the other. The players actually seemed to be having fun also and I think that makes a huge difference.

Some great bowling by Dom Barrett, Jesper, Smallwood, Wes Malott, Bryon Smith, Liz Johnson, Dick Allen, Mike Fagan and others.

I also agree.  It's a great crowd they have up in Portland.

Sunday was a great bowling day on television between the league bowling and the NCAA Women's Championship. The U. of Nebraska ladies went against Stephen Austin U. for the Title. The match went the full 7 games.

From start to finish, it was a very nice day of bowling on the tube.

thought it was dumb...best of 2, seriously??? just make it best of 3 instead of a 1 ball roll off...cant even give them a decent time frame to go with something that ould make sense

I also enjoyed the show.  I think it has a lot to do with the Portland crowd.  The whole place just rocks.  A good time had by all.
Will be watching next Sunday.

If the crowd is going to be that into it and pop like that on strikes host every event (especially the majors) up in Maine!

It looked like a very nice venue.

It was best of 3, the two teams that won just won 2 games in a row so the third game was not necessary.

It was a race to two RotoWorld.  They want the chance for a roll off.

No different than a double elimination. Lose two and you are out.

Nope.  Roll Off would not consist of a 3rd game.
