If people like Rhino are averaging that today, what is tomorrow going to bring, we may see some insaneingly high scores, records could fall. Rhino is a great bowler and i hope he makes it on tv.  Look at the overall scores.  They seem to be high.

^^^

Huh? Rhino is a great player (just check out what he's done this year alone)...not a THB by any means. For you to insult his capability is ridiculous. Could you average what he is averaging?

On edit: ^^^nice edit...

I know during amateur events, he used Lanemasters gear, but now, I don't know, as Lanemasters isn't product registered with the PBA for Tour competition.

I'm guessing he just uses what he wants, but I could be wrong. For some reason, I'll bet on either Storm or Brunswick...

Pass me some of whatever he's having for breakfast. Daaaamn.

Surely he has to run into a title by the end of the year if he keeps this up.

I think you can use Lanemasters in the PTQ but not once you get to the Round of 64.  I think that's part of the grassroots thing.

"Unlimited use of cleared bowling balls, apparel and accessories, excluding shoes in PBA Tour Qualifying Rounds*, PBA Regional and Senior Tour competition (excluding any televised competition).

* Grassroots items not permitted during U.S. Open and World Championship competition or on the Denny's PBA Tour"

The VERY confusing product registration description from PBA.com...

In any case, that still doesn't answer the question of what Rhino is using.

He only needs a 230 to break the 7-game record, too.

Someone from the tournament posted in the PBA forums that Rhino was using either a No Mercy or Black Widow.

it is also interesting to know that ryan ciminelli is keeping up with him only like 40 pins back.

I hope Rhino breaks the record, that would be cool.

Breaks Bobby Stives record by 30 pins.  Nearly broke the 6-game record too, missed it by 10.  Stupid 289.  And on what the PBA considers a lower-scoring pattern, even.
