What a difference...
« on: December 04, 2003, 08:59:03 PM »
... a week makes:

29, (TIE) Tommy Delutz Jr., Flushing, N.Y., 2,138
95, (TIE) Jeff Lizzi, Sandusky, Ohio, 2,007
106, Patrick Healey Jr., Mexico, 1,980
107, Ryan Shafer, Elmira, N.Y., 1,979
126, Chris Johnson, Garland, Texas, 1,925

TD's last win came in CT (even though it was the Long Island Open), so maybe it's his week.  Everyone else from last week's show is GONE!

Funny how, other than Ryan Shafer, all the winners so far have done poorly the following week.  Maybe the relief of making the exempt list for next year takes away the edge.

Looks like lefty heaven this week...

1, Patrick Allen, Tarrytown, N.Y., 2,326
3, Hugh Miller, Seattle, 2,249
4, Jack Jurek, Lackawanna, N.Y., 2,223
6, Parker Bohn III, Jackson, N.J.
19, Jason Couch, Clermont, Fla., 2,163
25, (TIE) John Petraglia, Manalapan, N.J.
28, Chris Hayden, Orlando, Fla., 2,140
29, Dennis Horan Jr., Temecula, Calif., 2,138
40, Christopher Sand, Chesterfield, Mich., 2,119
41, Richard Wolfe, Vienna, Va., 2,117
45, Mike Aulby, Indianapolis, 2,109

and those are just the ones I know fer sure are wrongsiders!  I could be wrong, but I think this is the first week Petraglia has made the 1st cut.

Let me add the following to the list:

10, Chris Rebstock, Middletown, Conn., 2,202

I have the pleasure of bowling against Chris in NEBA's...great lefty stroker that had a 299 in game 8 or something like that.  Bradley like a few other houses that I bowl in have the stigma of being a "lefy house."

Just a slight correction....Jack Jurek is a righty. Unfortunately I know this all too well by having to have bowled against him too many times...LOL.

Quote me on this RIGHT NOW.  Last time Parker made the cut and the show, he was able to play an outside line.  I got bashed for posting something about him not being able to play inside, or never doing very well if he can't throw it as hard as he wants, and have recovery from outside.  If he's doing that well, his breakpoint is between 5 and 8.  I'll be the first one to admit if I'm wrong, but I'm willing to bet just about anything that he'll be playing the exact same line if he makes the show as he did last time he made a show.  Something with length and strong recovery at a breakpoint of 6.  Bruiser, Time Zone, or Blazing Inferno.  The guy can still beat anybody anytime, but this is his "A" game, and when he can play it, he'll be on top, so it's an easy guess.
