What the heck!!

It says the Greater Rockford Classic is on but they are replaying last weeks matches. WHY!!! Is anyone else seeing this?

Appeased SOME of us?

Do you really think that the american public in general has your patience?

They're a struggling business begging for sponsorship & pull a move that will lose probably 30-50% of their viewers for a least the 1st 1/2 of the show.

Besides, I don't really give much credit to ESPN. They made a good business move in bringing in the PWBA. Competing against PGA golf, which is a huge draw, they might as well be repeating more world's strongest men.

I never gave them the "They suck attitude" but i would like some type of notification on the bottom or something.

Charlest- It did start at 1:30 thats why i was like what the heck when i didnt see the rockford classic on.

Allstar23, it is not to hard too gather from your postings that you are between 13 & 14 years old? I was not bashing you, just simply pointing out your impatience and the fact that you did not wait an extra minute or two to find out if the show was going to switch over to the correct telecast.

Please do not start a war or words here, I was expressing my opinion which I'am entitled to do. If you want to take this conversation off line then we can .

And that precisely is what has the masses here in their collective uproar...the live feed didn't come across at the scheduled start time.  The show simply started with the Terre Haute feed and the Recorded Earlier message in the upper corner of the screen.  It took a few minutes for the Program Alert ticker to scroll across.

Not sure if the technical issues rest on ESPN's doorstep or if that is our baby.  I just wish we could have gotten a nod from the previous program which was supposedly live from golf's US Open.

On a better note,

The camerawork is MUCH improved over last year.

I REALLY liked the closeup of Kelly's ball when she was at the line. It was awesome to be able to see her drilling & grip. I wish they would do that more.

On a lesser note, the clear packaging tape holding the PWBA placard onto the pin sweepers looks RIDICULOUS.

How amaturish can you get?

With each sweep you can see more of the tape coming off. I'm just waiting for one to fall off.

Bjaardker, in answer to one of your previous questions, I heard the announcers mention that the WIBC will sponser the rest of the summer tour. This is nice but the future of PWBA is after that is unkown tight now

I am confused.
Allstar made his post at 1:30 PM, which I can only assume is my EDST time, which means whatever he was seeing was before the 1:30 PM starting time.

Your "3 hours different", 10:30 AM Pacific (I assume), is the same universal moment in time as my 1:30 PM Eastern.

It was 1:30. I just tested & the timestamps on here are about 10 minutes behind.

My test post is timestapmed 3:10, but I actually posted it at 3:19 EDT.

There's your problem, charlest.  You're in both Daylight and Standard time at the same moment.  Could be like a matter/anti-matter explosion any second now!

What was it, 6 or 7 times last week she said that?

But like I said, the overall quality of the broadcasts are much improved in my opinion.

I hope they continue to get better.
