16 lB RS-1 = /

I want so dearly to try this ball.......I got it for $50 brand spankin new. the problem is the weight......it's 16 Lbs.

Now, this topic may seem a bit silly, but I am by no means a drilling guru, so I honestly don't know what to much drilling will do to a ball.. I just know drill patterns & such. What I want to know is, can I drill the finger holes deeper, as well as put an axis hole on the side, to lighten this b*tch up.....without destroying the characteristics of the ball........cause I have been reading reviews on this ball, and it sounds incredible, I just don't like the fact that it is 16 Lbs.

Any thoughts would be fantastic. Thanks in advance!!!1

Don't know enough about drilling to tell you ...but from what I remember....I'm not sure if you're going to lose that much weight....you can either trade it in for a 15lb somewhere....or just try it.....someone else will chime in...sit tight.....

p.s. great ball by the way!

I did think about going to the pro shop I go to, and asking the owner if he could send it in for a straight up trade.  Nobody would be losing any money or anything.  But, I bought it off I dude I bowl with, not at the pro shop.......so I don't know if that would nullify that thought or not.  I wouldn't think so, it's still in the box & plastic bag, with Drilling instructions & everything.

I haven't noticed anyone mentioning in the reviews about this ball dying out.  Thats a good sign.

I'll prolly just end up drilling it up anyway.  Just put a big fat axis hole on the side, and possibly drill the fingers a bit deeper then normal, just to lighten it up a bit.

I'll still ask for a trade though = o
